At Electric Daisy Carnival WE the party goers are the headliners which also means that everyone wants to be fashionable for various reasons. It’s a time to be someone else. It’s a time to put on a costume. It’s a time to be a free spirit away from your day to day activities in a corporate office. There’s one thing you do not want to forget about though and that is comfort first!
You will be walking a lot so don’t be an idiot and wear some flat shoes or flip flops. You want some foot wear that will provide your feet cushioning so that your feet are not covered in blisters after the first or second night. Walking around on the Vegas strip is tough enough but you’ll also be making the long walk from your hotel room to the shuttle bus and then from the shuttle to the front gate of the venue. It doesn’t stop there. Once you’ve made it through the front gate you also have to walk more just to get to the first stage. And then a longer distance to the next. Guess what? You haven’t even started dancing yet and you’ll do that for the next seven hours!
Do not be that person in your group who didn’t listen and then has to always find a place to sit down because your feet hurt. It’s one thing if you are tired but another if you thought you were just going to your local beach club for a few hours at night.
Your sneakers may not go perfect with your costume but no one will be commenting on that part of your attire. Be smart, your feet will thank you for it by the time Monday morning arrives!
As for other fashion advice, wear clothes you feel comfortable in. Clothes you can sweat in. Clothes you can dance in. Clothes that you won’t feel trapped in. Some people like going all out, some people like a simple tshirt and shorts. Be yourself but make sure your feet are protected!
