Infected Mushroom All Ages Pool Party June 20 at The Cosmopolitan

Infected Mushroom is an act that isn’t scheduled to perform at Electric Daisy Carnival but will be in Las Vegas during that time and will be at an amazing pool party event the day before the festival begins. They’re performing on June 20th at the Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan which overlooks the Las Vegas strip for some amazing views as the sun goes down and the lights go on.

You usually expect your typical house, trance, tech house, etc dj to be playing at a pool party in Las Vegas and not a group like Infected Mushroom so this is definitely a change. If you’re a fan of their music and in Vegas it’d be worth going to for only $20.

An Infected Mushroom dj set is a mix of their typical psytrance sounds with industrial elements. Leave a comment below if you have a better way to describe their dj sets. The music will have you dancing and having a great time.

Here’s how the event is listed:

Electronic music, mega-legends, Infected Mushroom are best known for being the sonic innovators of the “Psychedelic Trance” genre. Twice ranked amongst the world’s “10 best DJ’s” by The U.K.’s DJ Magazine and with over 14 million hits on Youtube and a #8 position on the Billboard chart, the Israel-bred, LA based duo Amit “Duvdev” Duvdevani and Erez Eisen have ranked their kingdom amongst the highest in the scene.

2013 marks a year of reinvention for the duo as they embark on the “FungusAmoungUS Tour” with an all new 3D mapped experience. Infected’s new production is truly one of a kind. Stimulating 3D mapped visuals are landscaped onto “pods”, projecting psychedelic visuals that become the backdrop for enigmatic vocals, hypnotic arrangements, and psy-trippy synthetic rhythms.

This event is also all ages for those 18+ festival goers that want to do more while in Vegas. Doors open at 7pm and Dj Mike Attack will be the opening dj at 8pm with Infected Mushroom after.

Here’s a general view of the pool party area t night as the sun goes down from last year.
