Wet n Wild Las Vegas Water Park Will be Open in June

There’s a lot of things to do in Las Vegas that are not gambling related and the newest attraction, Wet ‘n’ Wild, will open by the time everyone arrives in Las Vegas for Electric Daisy Carnival. If you’re looking for something to do in the heat that doesn’t involve an expensive pool party or just laying around the hotel pool this could be an option.

More from their web site:

Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas will be Nevada’s largest water park and home to more than 25 exhilarating slides and attractions. The 41-acre park will be located on S. Fort Apache Road, just off I-215 between Sunset Road and Warm Springs Road, and will feature attractions for families and thrill seekers alike. Adrenaline addicts can enjoy slides like Hoover Half Pipe, that drops guests 57 feet into a half pipe experience, or Rattler, the only slide of its kind built in North America that will be sure to be a “rattling” experience. The park also features tamer attractions such as the relaxing Colorado Cooler, a 1,000-foot-long winding lazy river; Splash Island, a multi-level interactive children’s area filled with geysers, mini-slides and dumping buckets; and the wave pool, a 17,000-square-foot ocean experience. Wet ‘n’ Wild Las Vegas is scheduled to open summer 2013. For more information, visit www.wetnwildlasvegas.com.
