Chattahoochee Hills Prepares for TomorrowWorld

Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia has a population of 2,500 people but is expecting 50,000 people later this month for the TomorrowWorld festival when it takes place in the southern part of the rural county. The town has been meeting with event organizers to plan for traffic and public safety contingency plans.

Fire officials plan to have extra paramedics and first responders on duty to handle any road emergencies. They’re expecting that there will be accidents and will be prepared for when they happen. If you’re driving make sure to take it easy on the roads, be awake, alert and most importantly if you’re driving make sure that you are sober.

One of the best ways to ensure a positive impact and have the people of the town invite TomorrowWorld back is to support the local businesses when you can! Be nice, courteous and spend some money and the people of the town will want you back.

Tom Regan from Channel 2 had spoken with a clerk at a general store who stated: “It’s exciting. Most concerns I have heard is about traffic. Traffic is going to slow a lot of people’s days down. Hopefully we will get a lot of business in the store,” said clerk Alex Smith.
