Buying EDC Vegas Tickets Using the Payment Plan

Over the last couple of years festivals have started offering payment plans when purchasing tickets so that more people will purchase the tickets and pay for them over the course of four to five months. You’ll want to be cautious though and follow the small print or you can end up never receiving your tickets and also losing out on money. Buying on credit, it’s the American way!

The process is fairly simple. You’ll select the payment plan option, you’ll make the first initial payment and then once a month the rest of the money will be taken out of your account on the date specified. The only thing you have to do is make sure that there’s money available on your debit or credit card.

Expect the first payment to be around $100 and then probably three remaining payments around $60 to $70 a month. This is just a guess based on previous years. They make it very clear what days the payments will be taken out of your account so you’ll want to make sure that the money is really charged to your credit card or taken out of your bank account if you’re using a debit card.

What happens if your card gets denied? You’ll get an email from Flavorus telling you that you have a certain amount of days to change the payment method or you’ll lose your tickets and any money that you’ve already paid. I used the payment plan method last year and this happened to me for one payment but it was very easy to login to my account, add another payment method and then the payment was processed.

What if your debit or credit card is not charged and you don’t get an email saying that your payment was declined? That won’t happen. You’ll get the email. Don’t wait until a month before EDC to start wondering where your ticket is though. Keep an eye on your spam/junk mail folder of your email provider in case an email ends up in one of those places. If there’s no email anywhere you’ll want to login to your Flavorus account and see what it says or an even better option is to pickup the phone and call Flavorus!

This is an example of what you’ll receive:

Layaway Payment Failed

Every year as tickets start getting mailed out someone will say that there account was not charged and they never got an email and once they call Flavorus they find out the order was cancelled. Don’t let this be you! Keep track of every payment and the standing of your account. Once the final payment is processed you’ll be able to see that it’s been paid in full.
