EDC Week Review: Eric Prydz at Drai’s Beach Club

The newest and one of the most lavish pool party venues in Las Vegas is called Drai’s Beach Club and is located on the roof top of The Cromwell towards the North end of the Las Vegas strip and was host to Eric Prydz for a Saturday afternoon pool party.

Arriving after 2 PM there was a long line which is to be expected since Eric Pyrdz’s set time was at 3 PM. Drai’s also performed thorough searches getting in. For anyone going to a pool party, you don’t need much. Leave everything besides your ID, cash and cell phone back at your hotel room if you can.

This was our fourth pool party in four days and was definitely one of the most unique venues. Victor Drai spared no expense on this venue with massive palm tree’s located on the roof. Second level cabanas overlooking the venue. Pools spread across the roof for those wanting to stay wet, air conditioned bars and a stunning view of the Las Vegas strip looking down on the Bellagio Fountains and Eiffel Tower.

The DJ booth is positioned on the middle of the roof with great sound in front and throughout the entire venue. Whether you had a cabana, bottle service around the pool, behind the DJ booth or you just had general admission there was plenty of space to enjoy the music with friends.

As for Eric Prydz, the crowd was full of Pryda Friends and his set was just what we all wanted. Prydz was behind the booth with his signature backwards baseball cap and sun glasses enjoying the atmosphere like everyone else. As the afternoon party progressed so did the music and by the time he played Allein late in the set everyone was smiling, sweating and dancing where they could.

Take any chance you can to visit Drai’s Beach Club, it’s a place where service is a top priority.
