EDC Las Vegas 2015: Insomniac Announces Festival Dates Plus Ticket On Sale Date, Prices & Payment Plan

Insomniac has officially announced information for Electric Daisy Carnival 2015 in Las Vegas which will be held from June 19 through 21 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the fifth year in a row. It also marks the return of EDC Week which runs from June 16 through 24. EDC Week begins on the Tuesday prior to the festival and features pool parties, club events and the EDM Biz Conference.

Directly from Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac,

Headliners! Bring the love on June 19th, 20th & 21st as Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) returns to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway! Tickets go on sale Monday, December 1st at noon PT. Let’s celebrate under the electric sky and watch the sun rise together! Come one, come all, come home. #EDCLV #EDC #Insomniac #peace #love #daisies

Pasquale also had this to say,

“Our mission each year is to create magical and immersive experiences that provide happiness and escapism for our fans. Their energy and creativity has given me inspiration and new ideas for EDC Las Vegas in 2015 and I’m really excited to share another journey with them.”

Here’s the teaser trailer video that was released today:

Per Insomniac, “Official video trailer blooming soon!”.

The most important detail is how to buy a ticket. The on sale date for tickets is December 1st at noon PST via Ticketmaster. There will be a 6 ticket limit per order. There will not be a loyalty presale this year. Insomniac wants to ensure that everyone who wants to attend has an equal opportunity to purchase tickets at the lowest price.  Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac’s CEO posted on Facebook, “No Loyalty Presale this year. There was a lot of negative feedback w/ multiple tiers last year. This plan lets us offer the lowest price to the most # of people.”

Tickets for 2014 will be $329 + fees for general admission and $699 + fees for VIP for those over 21. A layaway pricing option will be available (read more about layaway plans here). Single day tickets will not be sold, unless you are planning to spring for a single day Cabana package (Insomniac will be providing details on special packages closer to the event). Insomniac notes that tickets are not transferable if you have a three-day pass and can’t make it one of the days. Sounds like the cashless system might be in place for EDC Las Vegas 2015! At EDC Orlando, each wristband needed to be registered either prior to the event or at the event. The wristband can be loaded on-site with money using credit cards or cash. But the vendors at EDC will only accept the cashless payments.

Details regarding Insomniac’s exclusive hotel deals, shuttle passes, the return of EDC Week and the fifth annual EDMbiz Conference will be announced in the coming months.

Here’s some of our previous tips from EDC 2013 and 2014 about buying tickets:

Chances are you read one of our ProTips leading up to the festival the past two years and also found an EDC Week event on our calendar listing. We’ll be starting a post for EDC Week 2015 that you’ll want to keep bookmarked. Details of those events won’t start being released until late April 2015 but it’s never too early to be prepared.

The festival attracts up to 140,000 headliners every night for three straight nights and is one of the largest festivals in the world. The festival runs until 5:30 AM as the sun is rising above the desert mountains.
