Rising Star was an alias used by Armin van Buuren almost 15 years ago, dating back to 1999 when Armin first launched his label Armind Recordings releasing tracks such as “Touch Me”. After a 13 year hiatus, Armin decided to bring back his moniker Rising Star for his track “Safe Inside You”, choosing to feature the famed trance vocalist Betsie Larkin. Many of his fans never thought his classic sound would ever return, but he has surprised us all with this beautiful track which has a perfectly encapsulates a trance sound from an older era. “Safe Inside You” is part of Armin’s compilation album ‘A State of Trance 2015’.

Lyrics to “Safe Inside You” by Armin van Buuren presenting Rising Star featuring Betsie Larkin:

Fall up to this
Where ashes turn to gold
Reach out for me
And fate will unfold
Never alone
My beacon in the night
And I’ll be your own
Weapon in this fight
I’m safe inside you
The place I run to
I never wanted more than this
I’ll be your harbor
Shining armor
Show you the way back again
I’m safe inside you
The place I run to
I never wanted more than this
I’ll be your harbor
Shining armor
Show you the way back again
