Insomniac Gives Back With Charitable Donations to Local Las Vegas Charities

This week Pasquale Rotella, CEO and Founder of Insomniac, will be presenting $105,000 in funds raised at the 19th annual Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas to three Las Vegas nonprofit organizations: Emergency Medicine Resident Research Fund, Injured Police Officers Fund and HELP of Southern Nevada’s Shannon West Homeless Youth Center. Each group will receive a donation of $35,000.

In addition, Insomniac will be celebrating $70,000 funds raised from the first ever “EDC Week Charity Auction” with a special performance from Culture Shock Las Vegas, the beneficiary of the auction. Culture Shock Las Vegas is a nonprofit  that seeks to steer youth away from substance abuse, violence and hatred through performance art and dance.

“Insomniac and our EDC Week Charity Auction partners are so excited that we were able to raise approximately $70,000 for Culture Shock Las Vegas,” said Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac.  “I am so happy and grateful that our very first charity auction captured the excitement of so many people in Las Vegas and the dance music community. Culture Shock is such an amazing non-profit and the work they do truly embodies the spirit of EDC – rejecting hatred and inspiring positivity for kids and teens.”

Since the festival’s move to Las Vegas in 2011, Insomniac has donated over $380,000 to local organizations.
