Las Vegas is hot. Very hot. How hot? Stupid hot! The sun is hot too so make sure that you pack sunscreen and don’t hesitate to put it on. This may seem like another no brainer common sense tip but while you’re drinking, gambling and partying with friends the simple things can slip your mind.
Unless you’re hiding in your hotel room during the day sleeping you’ll be outside wandering the concrete Las Vegas strip getting baked by the fireball in the sky.
The one place that may slip your mind is putting sunscreen on after you shower and head to the shuttle bus to get to the festival, especially if you’re going early. You’ll be outside waiting in line with the sun high in the air and likely inside of the festival as it’s setting. Play it safe and don’t get a sun burn standing in line and be in pain after the first night.
