EDC Vegas ProTip #44 Don’t Fear the K9 Unit Van

This topic pops up all the time and makes people really paranoid (for obvious reasons) but you shouldn’t be. If they are even there they are there to help protect the police and also to act as a scare tactic and a very good one at that.

They are not there to sniff out every person as they walk through the gates to find silly amounts of illegal substances that would just waste everyones time. Dogs can also sniff out bombs as well and given the state of the world we live in they could come in handy if there’s any type of security concerns.

Remember though, if something is illegal it’s illegal and you can always get caught and in trouble in some way. As you walk towards the festival though don’t let yourself flip out all paranoid just by the sight of a K9 van. The chances of Turner and Hooch chasing you down in the parking lot are pretty rare.

Posting this as a protip is a stretch but it’s a topic that often comes up the closer and closer we get to the festival.
