There’s 99 days until EDC Las Vegas 2014 so it’s time to start getting excited about the festival ahead. With less than 100 days to go until the festival the main stage is likely in final design process and plans are underway to make it even bigger and better than years before. The progression in design has been huge over the past three years. With the competition of TomorrowWorld and Mysterland there’s no doubt that Insomniac wants to stay on top in North America.
2011 was the first year of EDC Las Vegas and looking back at the main stage it doesn’t look like anything special but it had one effect no stages have had since, lasers and a lot of them!
2012 the stage took a new design to be more of a 360 degree effect. This stage went on to be used by Jay-Z on one of his tour.
2013 the rise of the owl and the immersive stage design. Moving parts and the added layers continued to be used through 2013 for other Insomniac events and will continue.
