So for all you out of towners that would love to get a hold of the cheap tickets for the famous Bal en Blanc in 2014 you may want to be prepared. The 20th edition of Bal en Blanc will be held on April 20, 2014 and tickets should be going on sale soon.
For those of you looking for one of most unique parties in Canada, this is for you! Montreal hosts Bal en Blanc put on by Playground Productions. Every Easter Sunday approximately 15,000 people dress in their best whites to dance all night long at the Palais des congrès de Montréal. None other than some of the best DJs in the world grace the stages of this one night 15 hour event. The names of Markus Schulz, Armin van Buuren, W&W, Tiësto, Sander Van Doorn, Ferry Corsten, David Guetta, to name a few. Two distinct rooms created, one for trance and the other house music. This allows each person the chance to decide which side they want to spend more time as all tastes are different.
Presale tickets are at a reduced price. Very tough to get your hands on, but with some patience or very fast computer it can be done. Usually 1,000 tickets get posted online. This is a fraction of the usual 15,000 tickets sold for the event. Last year presale tickets were sold in minutes and rightfully so. The first tickets usually sell at a reduced price of $99 CAD. The other tickets sell at average price of $125-149 CAD. And this does not include VIP which will run you an extra $49 CAD on average. VIP benefits include the following: express entrance via its own line, an elevated platform for viewing, separate restrooms and some fruit platters. Is it worth it, you may ask? Well that depends on you! As many party goers love to be in the crowd and feel the heat and party vibe. Some may love the space on one of the platforms. This gives you at least some breathing room from the masses! Alcohol is served at the event until 3 AM. So for those that want to loosen their legs with a little liquid can do so at their leisure. They also sell glow sticks and other rave accessories. As you’re not allowed to bring your own. This year is the 20th anniversary of Bal en Blanc. So it will be huge! Expect some of the worlds biggest DJs to own the floor once again.
