Ookay is another performer booked for Electric Daisy Carnival that has an interesting story from the past about attending Electric Daisy Carnival to now playing the event. Back in 2010 should he choose his prom or EDC in Los Angeles? The choice was obvious.

Not familiar with Ookay? Check out more of his Soundcloud page. You’ll probably be hearing his latest track with Showtek called Bouncer all over the place.

Ookay wrote on his Facebook page:

In 2010 I was given the opportunity to go to prom/grad night or EDC. My choice was EDC. I went with my cousin and had a great time. Never went to Las Vegas for EDC but the last one in LA. I told my friends and family “wouldn’t it be crazy if one day I played EDC?” They of course said yeah but the actual expectations were low. But with hard work and determination I’ll be able to finally say “EDC MAKE SOME FUCKING NOISE” thank you guys for supporting me. Kennedy Jones and I have a hell of a show for you guys. From my first DJ set at a perfume warehouse for 30 people to EDC. Anything is possible. LETS GO!!!!

You can check out Ookay at the festival and also at the Bassrush Pool Party on Thursday, June 19, 2014.
