I will be honest about this, I ended up arriving super late to the speedway on the third day of EDC this year. Not because I wanted to, not because I had a lack of interest in the earlier artists, but mostly because I was exhausted and wanted to rest. The shuttle driver didn’t help, taking the longest route using the slowest speed to arrive to the speedway.
A speedy security and quick feet allowed for us to find the kandi making booth and catch a portion of Calvin Harris’s main stage set before heading over to the Neon Garden for Loco Dice. With hands down one of the best fireworks displays of the weekend, Loco Dice absolutely murdered the dance floor with groovy beats. Yes I skipped Bassnectar and honestly I am not sad, as the crowd was insanely packed for his set.
Then trance night could finally begin, Gaia were awesome, as was Markus Schulz. During this time I took part of the sets off to continue to explore and soak in as much of the festival as possible before the end of the night. I did a final tour of all the stages and made sure not to miss an details while looking for some friends. I ended up catching bits and pieces of DJ Snake during this time. Being not completely sure who to end my night with, I chose to end it with Dillon Francis who closed out EDC Las Vegas 2015 with a huge ‘bang”!
