EDC Ticket Sale Questions and Answers

We’re days away from tickets going on sale for Electric Daisy Carnival 2014 in Las Vegas starting with the “Headliner Loyalty Program” and of course there’s been an insane amount of questions and a lot of answers. Anyone who bought tickets for EDC Las Vegas in 2011, 2012 or 2013 qualifies for the initial presale on November 25, 2013 and everyone else can purchase tickets on December 2, 2013.

Q. How do I get my loyalty code?

A. Check the email account associated with your Flavorus account. If you haven’t received an email yet make sure to check your spam folder which is where it’s been appearing for a lot of people.

Q. How much are tickets?

A. They start at $249 for general admission and VIP tickets for those 21+ start at $499

Q. Will the ticket prices go up from there?

A. Probably. Ticket costs always increase.

Q. When do the tickets go on sale?

A. November 25, 2013 at 12 pm PST for those with a loyalty code. If you don’t have a loyalty code you can buy a ticket starting on December 2, 2013 at 12 pm PST.

Q. Where can I buy tickets? The EDC site? Flavorus site?

A. The link is in your email which will direct you here.

Q. Are the loyalty tickets going to sell out?

A. Flavorus has sent an email stating, “Tickets can not sell out during the Loyalty Program. As long as your place your order during the 24-hour period with the proper e-mail/coupon code you will be able to purchase tickets. Thanks for choosing Flavorus!”

Q. Could 130,000 people buy three passes in 24 hours?

A. That’d be pretty insane. There’s also no info as to whether or not all tickets are on sale for the loyalty sale or just a limited amount. Login and buy right away to be safe.

Q. Is there a payment plan available for tickets?

A. Yes. All options will have a payment plan starting on November 25, 2013. Thinking about using the layaway plan? Read our tips here.

Q. How much are tickets for the payment plan?

A. Expect to pay around $100 for the first payment and then three or four payments after that. Read our tips here.

Q. What if I haven’t received my loyalty code yet?

A. Hurry up and email Flavorus immediately at help@flavorus.com and they’ll assist you.

Q. What happens if I use my code more than once?

A. Any order after the first order will be cancelled. You won’t get those tickets. That simple. Use it once and don’t give it out.

Q. How many tickets can I buy?

A. There’s a limit of four tickets.

Q. Should I buy general admission or VIP?

A. We’ve written an article about that! Read it here, General Admission vs VIP

Q. How many boxes do I get of goodies/swag?

A. One per order. If you order four tickets you’ll get one box. Anyone else who wants a box of goodies can visit the will call tent at the festival and ask for one.

Q. Will there be single day tickets?

A. Nope. Three day only.

Q. Will the tickets be paper, wristband or magnetic card?

A. General admission will be a plastic magnetic card just like previous years. VIP tickets will be a wristband with RFID tag.

Q. Do I have to buy my shuttle pass at the same time as my tickets?

A. No. You can purchase those separately.

Q. When will I receive my tickets in the mail?

A. They will not be mailed until at least three to four weeks before the festival if you live in the United States. For those who live in Canada or any other country you’ll have to pick your tickets up at will call. We have a tip for will call tickets.

Q. Can’t I just ship the tickets to a friends house in the United States?

A. They will only ship to the billing address.

Q. How do I know if my purchase was successful?

A. It will say right away. You may not receive a confirmation email for a few days afterwards though.

Q. I bought tickets to EDC New York, Puerto Rico, Orlando and Chicago. Can I get loyalty tickets for EDC Las Vegas?

A. No. You’ll have to buy tickets on December 2, 2013.

Q. What are the age limits?

A. 18+ for general admission and 21+ for VIP.

Q. They really expect people to buy tickets without a lineup?

A. Yes. It’s been this way for years. It’s about the experience and it’s a great experience. Once the lineup is out if you don’t like it you can easily sell your ticket. The lineup will be out sometime in May or early June.

Q. What if I buy tickets but can’t go, how do I sell them?

A. Once you receive your tickets mail them. If the tickets will be at will call you’ll need to make a photo copy of your credit card and black out all but the last four digits and also give the purchaser a photo copy of your drivers license.

Q. Does my EDC ticket get me access to EDC Week events?

A. No. Your ticket is for the three nights of the festival itself. Pool parties and club nights are all separate tickets. Keep an eye on our EDC Week 2014 page for everything related to events outside of the festival.

Q. Do I have to book my hotel right now?

A. No, but the earlier you book it the cheaper your price will be.

Q. Any other questions?

A. Leave a comment below and we’ll answer it for you or find an answer!
