This tip covers any day in life whether you’re at a festival with 115,000 other people or just hanging out with some friends in a park. Everyone knows what goes on at just about EVERY music festival so there’s no need to hide it. If one of your friends isn’t doing too well or even if you reach the point of knowing something is wrong do not wait until it’s too late. Seek medical attention immediately.
IF for some bad reason you or your friends need medical attention make sure to tell them about everything you have put in your body. Every drug and every drop of alcohol. They are asking to help you, not to get you in trouble.
The better solution is for all of us to take care of ourselves and don’t let it reach that point. That’s in a perfect world but things can happen and if they do be aware of the signs of a medical emergency. Head back to ProTip #74 to educate yourself and know that less is more.
Topics like this are rarely discussed by groups of friends but they should be. Everyone thinks that they are invincible and it’s human nature to hope that nothing bad happens but being prepared can help save a life.
Now that you’ve read this go back and read ProTip #60 about Ground Control since they are there to help you have a great time and keep you safe as well!
