The only reason you need to know what time it is when you’re at a festival is to be able to get to the stage you want to be at to see a performer. The goal is to stay until the end of the night when the sun is up and festival staff is starting to push everyone towards the exits.
A benefit to a watch is that you can keep your phone tucked away safe in your pocket so you’re not distracted by it. Enjoy where you are, not what’s out there in cyberspace. Another benefit is that you’re also saving battery life by avoiding the constant light up of the phone to look at. An even better option is you can just turn your phone off or leave it behind in a locker you rent.
If you’re one of the few that can go a whole night with no concern for time than you deserve a gold medal.
A watch is a simple and quick tip for an accessory that very few wear anymore.
